51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ’s small classroom, rigorous academics and a faith-based environment provide students with the skills needed to succeed.  Each preview day is filled with campus tours, visits with faculty and information sessions on Admissions, Financial Aid and Housing.  Come see first-hand what 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ has to offer.

Pioneer Days: Fridays…February 3 & 17

Looking to play a college sport? Pioneer Days are set aside to introduce you to our academic and athletic programs. 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ is committed to supporting character-driven  with the following sports:

BIG WEEKEND: Friday & Saturday, March 24-25

BIG WEEKEND is an excellent way for you -- as a high school or transfer student -- and your family to to learn all about our university and the #51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵPioneerFamily!

Our annual spring preview event gives you the chance to sit-in on classes, meet professors and administrators, interview for scholarships, apply for admission (with having your application fee waived) and financial aid, secure housing, try-out for athletic teams, audition for music and fine arts opportunities and learn all about the WBU Pioneer spirit!

Not only that but if you've already been admitted for the Fall 2017 semester (as an incoming freshman or transfer student), you will be able to register for fall courses... even before current WBU students are able to do so!

We're hosting BIG WEEKEND on Friday and Saturday, March 24-25. Come for just Friday or Saturday, or stay the entire weekend.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for this event is $30 for each student and each family-member in attendance. It covers the cost for all meals, a t-shirt, and admission to sporting events. The fee is paid at check-in (no payment in advance please). Additional Big Weekend t-shirts are available at $10 per shirt.

Early Bird Discount

If you sign-up for BIG WEEKEND prior to February 15th, you qualify for the early bird discount. We'll take $15 OFF your registration fee and all those family-members attending with you!

Benefits of attending BIG WEEKEND

Prospective Applicants: All high school seniors and transfers who apply to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ during BIG WEEKEND will have their $35 application fee waived.

Admitted Students: All event participants who are admitted for the Fall 2016 semester by March 25th are eligible to register for courses… even before current WBU students are able to do so!

Hotels

BIG WEEKEND participants may stay overnight at one of Plainview's local hotels. Housing for the event is not available on-campus. When booking your room, please ask for the discount associated with WBU event participants. Hotel space is limited so please make your reservations soon!
