51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ offers new programs

PLAINVIEW, TX — Students returning to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University Aug. 21 will find a wealth of new academic opportunities, with the addition of 33 new programs across various disciplines.

In the newly renamed School of Humanities and Leadership, a Doctor of Strategic Leadership program has been launched. Additionally, 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ now offers six new master’s degree programs, four new accelerated bachelor’s-to-master’s degree tracks, four new graduate certificate programs, nine new bachelor's degree programs, three new undergraduate certificate programs, one new associate’s degree program, and five new minors.

The School of Humanities and Leadership leads the way with 10 other new programs, including:

  • Bachelor of Arts degrees in Creative Leadership, Creative Leadership-Intercultural Leadership specialization, and Spanish-Intercultural Leadership specialization.
  • Undergraduate certificates in Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Leadership.
  • Minors in Creative Leadership, Global Multi-Cultural Studies, and American Multi-Cultural Studies.

The School of Behavioral and Social Sciences has added nine programs, including:

  • Master of Arts degree in Applied Diversity Leadership.
  • Accelerated Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Services to Master of Clinical Counseling.
  • Accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Psychology to Master of Clinical Counseling.
  • Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Psychology to Master of Clinical Counseling.
  • Graduate certificates in American History, Applied History, and History.
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Community Leadership and Criminal Justice Administration-Natural Resources Law Enforcement and Protective Service specialization.

The School of Business has unveiled six new graduate-level programs:

  • Master of Arts in Management with Project Management specialization.
  • Master of Business Administration with Cyber Security specialization.
  • Master of Science in Business Analytics.
  • Master of Science in Information Technology with specializations in Cybersecurity or Management Information Systems.
  • Human Resources Business Partner graduate certificate.

The School of Christian Studies is offering six new programs:

  • Accelerated Bachelor of Christian Studies in Christian Ministries to Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling.
  • Bachelor of Christian Ministry in Recreation Ministry with specializations in Sports Ministry or Camp Management.
  • Associate of Applied Science in Theological Studies.
  • Minors in Sports Ministry and Professional Ethics.

The School of Creative Arts has two new offerings:

  • Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance or Vocal Performance.
