Tips for Job Seekers
- Register in our job seeker database at if haven't done so already. Choose the Alumni icon and create an account using any login and password you wish.
- Use "My Résumés" and "My Career Portfolio" to create/upload documents, if you haven't done so already.
- Select "Search Employer Profiles" link in red Alert! section of Dashboard.
- Select "Search Employers" button to review participating employers and submit your resume and/or portfolio.
- View the "Check Interview Status" section of your account to schedule meeting times with employers and to use "Join Meeting" to connect with employers on scheduled date/time.
- Want to brush up on your interview skills? Our office can help you with a virtual mock interview to give you a "test run" and some valuable feedback before you do your actual interview. Contact Teresa for help.
- Report Offers/Hires after the event to notify us of your success!
Tips for Employers
- Make sure you are registered in our employer database on our website at .If another person from your company would like to participate they can do so through the event registration panel or we can change the name in your company registration if you are already registered. There is no cost to participate.
- Complete the event registration by visiting the event website at or through the link at the top of your employer account page.
- Once your event registration is approved, you can visit the event website at and click Event Account or through the link at the top of your employer account page.
- After signing in, you can complete your event registration by uploading two documents and a video link; select the jobs you wish to feature during the event from those previously added to your employer account; and link your office calendar and video conferencing account. Linking your office calendar will sync your availability and enable the creation of video conference time slots. These time slots will be made available to the job applicants you select to meet with virtually during and/or after the event. (If you elect to not link your calendar, the applicants you select will contact you by email to schedule an interview time, and you will need to create and distribute video conference meeting credentials outside of your event account.)
- During the event, job applicants will review your profile and the detail pages for any featured jobs. Applicants who wish to be considered for an interview will submit a request for your review. Each request will be listed within your event account where you will have access to details and documents (resume/portfolio) for each prospective applicant. The applicants you wish to meet with can be easily notified by selecting the [Interview] radio button and clicking [Notify Candidates/Update Status]. An email is then sent to each candidate, inviting them to choose an available time slot for a virtual meeting, or requesting that they contact you to schedule an interview time if you have not linked your calendar. Video conference credentials for the date and time they select are automatically generated and added to your event account and calendar (if linked). Joining the meeting is as simple as clicking the [Join Meeting] button at the appointed date/time.
- You will have 6 days after the event is over to access applicant interview requests for scheduling and conducting virtual meetings.
