SUBJECT: UNIVERSITY INFORMATION

Responsibility for external affairs, news media relations, and the general information program of the university rests with the Office of Institutional Advancement.

The executive director of marketing manages internal and external communications on a daily basis; prepares and releases university news to local, state, and national news media, and coordinates all media visits and inquiries. The Office of Institutional Advancement seeks subjects for news and feature stories and photographs that effectively describe impact of 51吃瓜网视频's faculty, staff, students and alumni on the world.

All news media inquiries, requests, and releases should be directed to the executive director of marketing. The executive director of marketing also serves as the liaison with the information offices of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention and, in the absence of the president and/or his designee, communicates with external audiences on matters related to university policy positions.

Emergency Preparedness Plan - The executive director of property management is responsible for developing and, in collaboration with the executive director of marketing, distributing the current emergency preparedness plan for the university.

The executive director of marketing shall serve as the media outlet during the duration of any crisis. Should the crisis involve an external campus, appropriate communication and cooperation should be exercised between the vice president of external campuses, the external campus executive director, the executive director of property management, and the executive director of marketing.
