SUBJECT: STATEMENT OF STUDENT INVOLVEMENT IN INSTITUTIONAL DECISION-MAKING - PLAINVIEW CAMPUS
Students at the Plainview campus participate in a variety of activities and organizations allowing opportunities for input into institutional decision-making.
While the primary method of student involvement in decision-making is the Student Government Association and the Student Senate, numerous departmental and institutional committees, councils, and task forces include student representation to solicit student opinion on matters affecting them and the university. The University Strategic Planning Council, Judicial Council, Academic Standards Committee, and Chapel Committee are examples. Students also regularly participate in the evaluation of current and prospective faculty.
Personal interviews, questionnaires, and surveys are used to gain individual student input.
Student opinion is actively sought and considered at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University.
