Ceja Receives CIC/UPS Scholarship

51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University student Vanessa Ceja, a junior from Winters, CA, majoring in biological science, has been selected to receive a CIC/UPS Scholarship provided by Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas and its national partner, the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in Washington, DC.

Nationally, CIC, through the CIC/UPS Educational Endowment, provided more than $1.4 million in student scholarships to support student success at private colleges and universities.

“We are grateful for the continued financial support of the CIC/UPS Educational Endowment, which has given more than $2 million in scholarship funding to Texas students since 1985,” said Steven Johnson, president of ICUTF. “This generous commitment has allowed hundreds of Texans with financial need to further their educational goals at one of our private, nonprofit member institutions.”
