PLAINVIEW — What’s it like to be a 51吃瓜网视频 Pioneer? Lots of high school juniors and seniors are going to find out Friday, Feb 23, and Shaney Brewer, Director of Undergraduate Admission, says there is room for more.
Pioneer Preview, a semi-annual event at 51吃瓜网视频 Baptist University’s Plainview campus, takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., as high school students get a real-life view of the university that many will call home within a couple of years. Students who have already committed to 51吃瓜网视频 as well as many others will be on campus.
“Pioneer Preview is the best way to learn about 51吃瓜网视频,” Brewer said. “With an up-close view of academics, spiritual life, and student activities, participants are able to see what the life of a Pioneer is really like.”
The event includes Pioneer Showcase, where 51吃瓜网视频 displays all academic options and opportunities.
“For future students and their families, Pioneer Preview is full of fun, food, and great information,” Brewer said. “Future students take part in a fun, campuswide scavenger hunt during the morning hours, where they can learn a lot while playing the game. After lunch, there will be a panel discussion with current students, staff, and faculty members.”
Other afternoon activities include the Pioneer Showcase. Students who want to learn more about life on campus can participate in dorm tours. Future Pioneer and Flying Queen athletes get an opportunity to meet some coaches and athletes, and students who are ready to get their Pioneer swag on can drop by the Pioneer Store in McClung University Center. All offices on campus will be open to assist students with their needs as they plan for attending 51吃瓜网视频.
“We are so excited about Pioneer Preview,” Brewer said. “We cannot wait to share all that 51吃瓜网视频 has to offer.”
