Lubbock campus hosts job fair and open house

LUBBOCK, TX — 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University is hosting a job fair and open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, in United Supermarkets Conference Center on the Lubbock campus, 801 N. Quaker Ave.

This free event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity for students, alumni, and the community to engage with top employers and explore 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ’s educational programs. Participants get the chance to connect with recruiters from leading industries, including technology, healthcare, education, and public service. Companies and organizations scheduled to attend include:

  • Tyler Technologies
  • Covenant Health System
  • Adult Protective Services
  • Lubbock Police Department
  • Frenship ISD
  • Veterans Administration
  • Lubbock ISD
  • University Medical Center (UMC)

 

“This event is a valuable opportunity for job seekers to engage with employers from a variety of sectors, and for prospective students to discover how 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ can support their educational and career goals,” said Dr. Judy Jarratt, Dean/Executive Director of the Lubbock campus. “We are thrilled to bring together such an excellent group of employers and resources for our community.”

The event also includes campus tours, information on degree programs, and guidance on financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Whether actively seeking employment or considering furthering your education, this event is designed to help participants take the next step in their professional or academic journeys.

Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and dress professionally for the job fair. No pre-registration is required, and the event is free to attend.
