Phi Alpha Theta
Phi Alpha Theta is the national honor society that recognizes scholastic excellence in history. Members of the organization have the opportunity present papers and participate in regional and state meetings.
The Zeta Iota chapter of Phi Alpha Theta at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University is the oldest chartered chapter in the region. To become a member, students must have 12 semester hours of history, a GPA greater than 3.0 in history courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0
Psi Chi
Psi Chi is a national honor society open to students interested in advancing the field of psychology. Students can submit papers for publication through the society, and receive benefits such as scholarships and grants.
To qualify, students must be enrolled as a major or minor in psychology and have completed 9 semester credit hours of psychology courses with at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must also maintain an overall GPA of 3.0
