Theta Alpha Kappa

Founded in 1976 with the local chapter established in 2013, Theta Alpha Kappa is an honors organization dedicated to recognizing excellence in majors and minors of the school of Religion and Philosophy.

In addition to local chapter activities, the organization maintains fellowship competitions and scholarship awards, along with offering an annual prize and the chance to be published in the organization's publication, the Journal of Theta Alpha Kappa.

In order to be eligible, students must first be nominated to join by the faculty and local chapter, have a GPA of 3.50 in either Theology or Religious Studies and be maintaining a 3.00 GPA overall. Service in ministry, class ranking, unit requirements and residency requirements must also be met.
