Admission Process
MSN & BSN Applicants

STEP 1: Complete all Prerequisite Coursework

STEP 2: Apply to the Nursing Program
- Application: This will be submitted to your Academic Advisor (please see contact information below).
- IMPORTANT: ALL prerequisite coursework must be completed before beginning the nursing program

STEP 3: CastleBranch Clinical Requirements Tracker
- Students must register themselves on the CastleBranch website.
- All immunizations and titers will be tracked by CastleBranch; See the current immunization requirements in the student handbook.
- The Basic Life Saver (BLS) Card, from the American Heart Association, will be tracked by CastleBranch.
- Complete the CastleBranch drug screening with a negative result.
- CastleBranch will also track your proof of health insurance and any required health physicals.

BSN Transfer Admission Process:
Students applying to the School of Nursing from another B.S.N. program or to earn a second bachelor's degree must meet the same admission and academic criteria as all other applicants.
- Transfer students will have the nursing coursework evaluated by the Dean of the School of Nursing for equivalency to the WBU nursing program curriculum.
- Students wanting to pursue a second bachelor's degree from WBU should contact the School of Nursing for evaluation of remaining prerequisites needed prior to entry to the program.
