SUBJECT: CAREER SERVICES

The Office of Career Services is charged with assisting students and former students in developing, evaluating, and effectively initiating and implementing career plans. The Office of Career Services seeks to assist students:

  • to engage in self-assessment,
  • to obtain occupational information,
  • to explore the full range of employment opportunities and/or graduate study,
  • to present themselves effectively as candidates, and
  • to pursue optimal placement in employment or further professional preparation.

The office shall be operated in compliance with:

  • The Civil Rights Act of 1964 - Title VII (Equal Employment Opportunity Act),
  • The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (as amended),
  • all other applicable state and federal laws,
  • the philosophy and policies of 51吃瓜网视频 Baptist University,
  • and the principles of professional conduct established by the College Placement Council.

Services shall be offered to any current student or graduate on an equal basis. Services to international students will be consistent with U.S. immigration laws and will encourage pursuit of only those employment opportunities which meet the individual's work authorization.

Graduating seniors are encouraged to register. Files may be updated at any time and can be activated by requesting and returning the following forms:

  • resume
  • data sheet
  • record release authorization
  • copy of transcript
  • reference forms

Any disclosure of student information shall require the prior consent of the student.

Fees charged for career services must be approved during the budgetary preparation process and shall not hinder student access to services.
