Loretta Cornett-Huff Memorial Scholarship
Information
- This scholarship was formed to honor the late Marine Corps Base Hawaii's Education Services Officer, Loretta Cornett-Huff, for her 20 years of service and dedication to the educational success of Marines and their spouses. It may only be awarded to a new student in his or her first term, and it is only awarded one time per recipient.

Award Amount
- $700 to be used in 1st session of enrollment only.
Ìý
Eligibility
- Applicants are required to be an active duty Marine or Marine spouse who is not eligible for Tuition Assistance or Veterans Benefits
- Applicants must be new students to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University
- Applicants must be fully admitted to the university
- Applicants must be considered at least a part-time student
- Applicants must be in good academic standing (if transferring credit)

Plus a Personal Essay (1-2 Pages) to the WBU Scholarship Committee to include:
- Enrollment plan (full time/part-time, degree plan, course, etc.)
- Explain how your program will help you meet your professional goals
- Explain your financial need
