- 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ has made it easier for law enforcement personnel, their spouses and dependent children to afford college. Qualifying students receive scholarship awards on a per-credit-hour basis, along with applicable credit for qualified work experience and job training.

Award Amount
- Undergraduate online classes: $133 per credit hour
- Undergraduate in-person classes: $133 per credit hour
- Graduate online classes: $159 per credit hour
- Graduate in-person classes: $143 per credit hour

Eligibility
- Applicants are required to be fully admitted to the university
- Starting in 2020-2021 Fall Session, full or part-time status is no longer required to receive the scholarship for employees and spouses. The scholarship amounts are based on a per-credit-hour award for employees and their spouses studying through WBUOnline and external campuses.
- Law enforcement employees must have completed POST or CALEA-certified academy, and be currently employed in a position that requires that certification to be maintained, or be the spouse or dependent child of someone who is.
- Law enforcement employees must show proof of current law enforcement employment at the beginning of the first enrolled term, and the beginning of each academic year after that. For spouses and children, proof of spouse or parent employment will be required.
- The scholarship may be applied to tuition, fees, or books (students must order their books through a 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ bookstore and charge the amount to their student account)
